We originally started TikiTemplates as an eCommerce site with the intent to sell templates to photographers.  What we quickly realized is that the Photoshop template marketplace is extremely crowded and difficult to break in to.

After leaving this site up for 3 years and getting an embarrassing 5 sales we faced two options.  One would have been to shut this site down.  With the amount of time that have gone into the templates that are available that seemed like a waste.  So we decided to go with option number 2 and have reopened TikiTemplates as a free site where you can come and download our templates free for personal use.

Feel free to browse around and find a template you like, download it, and use it.  As long as you’re using it for your own personal images and not reselling there’s no problem.  If you would like to use any of these templates in a commercial manner – you’re a professional photographer for example – please contact us first.  Odds are pretty good if you’re a self employed photographer there won’t be any issues with using the designs.  We just would like to know where our templates are getting used.
